Yuva Vikas - College of Developmental Education

Under this concept two attempts were made. One was Graduation ++ for college students and the other was scheme of National Development Volunteer Scheme. The concept developed with support of North East Council, Shillong Megalaya. The report and proposal was submitted to NEC , but the implementation is yet awaited. For details see National Development Volunteer Scheme.(Clik Here):Although Scheme was developed for NE States, yet an attempt was made to start voluntarily NDV for the Colleges. One college in UNA, Gujarat attempted this and enrolled about 100 students in batches of 10. Some programme for these students are proposed to be undertaken with the support of philanthropists/government. The scheme has also been sent PMO for consideration.


Graduation ++ Programme

With the objective of making higher education relevant and imparting skills in IT Management and knowledge application Center for Higher Education Studies and Training has launched the programme of Graduation ++ as am add Programme for undergraduate students through out the country. Nearly 15 colleges and university has signed MAUto implement this programme. An orientation programme for the teachers of these colleges and the university to implement this programme was organized by the CHEST. The programme was Inaugurated by Professor Arun Nigavekar, Chairman UGC.

The programme enrolled about 120 students. Students Completed one year Programme and were awarded certificate. .Graduation ++ programme could not continue beyond one year for want of funds and students. Followed by this UGC announced ad on programme in universities and Colleges.and provided financial support for the same For details See Graduation ++ (Click Here) SEED - CHEST Is considering modular Graduation ++ programme on internet as certificate soft skill development programmme.
